HoMe SwEeT hOmE!

After spending a productive/fun time in Butte, MT, we stopped in Anaconda to play 9 holes with Curtis and Jen, and drove on home through the gorgeous Western MT mountains.

LOVE BIG SKY COUNTRY!

We came home to find our daughter and family right behind us with groceries for dinner! SWEET! Ryan grilled yummy salmon-and along with a fresh green salad and yummy veggies, we caught up on the events of their family. And, of course, I got to squeeze a whole lot on little Jaxon, and read to Miss Tatum. We ended the evening with colored bubbles and the sprinkler hose. Didn't get pictures of that, but, of course I have to post a couple of my favorites!

(he's just a month old, here-amazing how quickly they change)

After the best night's sleep in quite awhile, I rolled right out ready to walk before the almost record day of heat was to begin. One more thing I love about our new home-about 10 steps from my doorway is God's beautiful creation in all its glory! I had a perfect 3.3 mile walk followed by 15 minutes of yoga on top of the hill out back and meditation/reading in my tree swing.

While swinging, I had a nice visit with friend, Sylvia, (Sylvia and Steve Hammer lived in Glendive while we were there) They excitedly await the arrival of second grandchild from daughter, Sacha, the end of this month. Son, Slade and their first grandchild, from CA, flew home to visit for a week, so they are in for an exciting time! Unfortunately, there's a bitter side to this sweet story: Steve found out in May that he has esophageal/lung cancer.:( Have I said it before? I HATE CANCER!!!! So…..you know the routine…..Please pray for Steve as he fights the good fight, and, Sylvia, and their family, as they battle on to beat this nasty demon.

"And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:7
