We came home for a bit of a break before unloading the truck, and I crashed for an hour nap! First nap since my surgery recovery-must have been pooped! We just returned from a final trip of the day out to Jill and Ryan's to unload a few things at their place for storage/use. Perfect timing, as they invited us for a yummy grilled asparagus and chicken dinner! Thanks, Nagles, it was delicious. Miss Tatum and I did a bit of flower garden work (Tatum spent most of the time carrying the angle worms around to show everyone) and then walked the chickens to the henhouse and gathered eggs. She loves her "girls".
Another blessed day in the Spokane Valley, and I'm feeling the eyelids began to droop. Until tomorrow, wishing you all a peaceful night with sweet dreams.
PRAYER WARRIORS: Please continue prayers for: Kelli, (she's home and doing very well), Jim and Marilyn (started chemo-so far so good) Ike (appt. with specialist May 17) and Dawn, Mark and Corine, Betsey, Jo and Jon (doing much better and planning to go home Tuesday), Sandra (our new landlord's friend who is meeting with her oncology doctor this Tuesday following a needle biopsy last week) and Greg.

9 Day Countdown:
DAY 7-
11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.
13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey
is all about.
14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.
15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye But don't worry; God never
blinks.
